Privacy Policy

MyPlanner ("we") provides private planning boards at myplanner.dev and through the MyPlanner Boards iOS app. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. The short version: your plans belong to you — we show no ads, run no third-party trackers, and never sell your data.

What we collect

• Account details. A username, a password (stored as a secure hash), and an optional email address.
• Your content. The boards, tasks, subtasks, and other content you create in the planner.
• Google account data (only if you choose to sign in with Google or link Google Calendar). Signing in with Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with us. Linking Google Calendar lets MyPlanner read and update calendar events to keep your planner in sync. You can unlink Google at any time in Settings.
• Contact messages. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you send, and use them only to respond.
• Cookies. A session cookie keeps you signed in, and an optional remember-me token keeps you signed in between visits. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.
• Server logs. Like most websites, our servers keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and troubleshooting, retained briefly.

How we use it

We use your data solely to operate MyPlanner: authenticating you, storing and displaying your boards, syncing with Google Calendar when you link it, and responding when you contact us. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling, and we do not track you across other sites or apps.

Sharing

Your boards are private unless you explicitly share them with someone or create a public board link. We share data with no third parties except the infrastructure providers that host the service, and Google when you use the Google features described above. We may disclose data if required by law.

Security

All traffic to MyPlanner is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes, and API access uses revocable tokens.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can edit or delete your boards and tasks at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, send a request from the contact page — we complete deletion requests within 30 days.

The iOS app

The MyPlanner Boards app for iPhone and iPad provides the same service and collects no additional data. Sign-in state is stored on your device the same way it is in your browser.
